Congratulations to Prof. Ji Yinglin who was recently awarded the prize of “High-caliber Overseas Talent” by Shenzhen Municipal Government. The scheme was launched in October 2010 by Shenzhen Municipal Government to recruit high-tech talents from overseas. It provides substantial support to prize winners who intend to initiate a business, start a research project or invent new techniques. By the end of 2014, the talent scheme has reviewed and recognized 793 winners from different fields in natural and social sciences. Prof. Ji Yinglin is the first recognized high-caliber talent in the field of foreign languages and literature.
