I am an associate professor and MA supervisor at the School of Foreign Languages in Shenzhen University. I got my PhD degree from Central China Normal University after completing my MA study at the department of English in Xi’an Jiaotong University and BA study at the department of English in Huazhong University of Science and Technology. My research interests include cognitive linguistics, ecological linguistics and lexicology. I have served as the principal investigator of several important research projects, including a young scholar project of humanities and social sciences funded by the Ministry of Education and an educational research project of Guangdong province. I have published several papers on journals indexed by A&HCI and CSSCI. I was a visiting scholar at Queen University of Belfast in UK at 2009, and will be a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University in 2016-2017.
