I got my PhD in neural biology, and I am currently professor at the School of Medicine in Shenzhen University and chief physician in Neurology Department. I work on clinical diagnosis and treatment of neurology whilst teaching and researching in this field. I have accumulated a lot of experience in dealing with and researching stroke, insomnia, depression, senile dementia, cognitive disorders, and so on. I have conducted systematic and intensive research in cell and molecular mechanisms and treatment of cerebral ischemia, epilepsy,depression, Huntington's disease, neuromuscular disorders, transduction and modulation of pain signal and so on, by using immuno-histochemistry and electro-physiology technologies. My recent research interest expands to include observing the brain activities in the process of speech through electro-biological methods.  

I have published dozens of articles in influential journals at home and abroad, edited or co-edited two books, and served as principal and/or collaborative investigator in around 10 national, provincial or municipal science foundation projects.
