 Research Interests
I got my PhD in Linguistics from University College London after completing my MA study at Peking University. My research focuses on psycholinguistics, cognitive linguistics and experimental pragmatics. I use eye tracking and behavioral experiments to examine children’s employment of social information in the process of lexical acquisition as well as in adult-child verbal communication. I took part in important research projects funded by the National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the US. I have published articles in influential journals home and abroad, including Journal of Memory and Language,Developmental Psychology,Acta Psychologica Sinica, and Psychological Science. My research findings have been presented in international conferences on experimental pragmatics and psycholinguistics, including Experimental Pragmatics, CUNY Sentence Processing Conference, Architectures and Mechanisms for Language Processing, and so on.
