Doug is a board member of True Wind Consulting, an HR consulting firm in China. He is writing a book on cross cultural management (expected release in 2010). The book is a study on the integration of western management methods and Chinese culture.
Doug holds a BS in engineering from the State University of New York, and a MS from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, with a certificate in Electronic Business. He moved to Shenzhen, China in 2006 to launch Asian operations for a US-based firm, delivering supply chain solutions to Fortune 500 clients. He has developed performance-based training programs in China, and has studied the evolution of cross-cultural management in Asia. Doug previously served as Vice President at Marsh and McLennan, a leading provider of advice and solutions in risk, strategy, and human capital. Prior, he co-founded Exband Systems, a wireless software firm offering tracking and location solutions. Doug currently works at SE Innovations, a consulting firm in China focused on turnaround management, M&A, project monitoring and oversight. He also serves on the board of the Prostate Awareness Foundation (PAF), a non-profit based in San Francisco.
Douglas P.
