Join us on December 15 in welcoming guest lecturer Olivier Jacque for a lecture which will discuss the inner workings of Wall Street in New York City. The lecture will cover the overall structure and strategies of American investment banks, hedge funds and, private equity funds and the strategies they employ. Students will gain an understanding of the principles and drivers of Wall Street and how it impacts the global financial landscape.
美国讲师Olivier Jacque将于2009年12月15日做客深大，届时欢迎广大学子加入讨论美国纽约市华尔街鲜为人知的内部运作程序。本次讲座将涉及美国银行投资、对冲基金、私人股本基金和人才招聘的整体结构和策略。学生们将对华尔街的商业原则和驱动力以及它如何影响全球金融环境有一定的了解。
Olivier Jacque Biography:
Olivier holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and is enrolled at the Fletcher School at Tufts University, where he will pursue a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy. Olivier worked for Lazard Alternative Investments, a real estate private equity fund based in New York City and was responsible for identifying strategic acquisition, disposition and recapitalization opportunities. Prior to working at Lazard he worked for Saint-Gobain, a multinational glass manufacturing company in the Investor Relations Department at their corporate headquarters in Paris. Prior to working at Saint-Gobain, he worked at Deutsche Bank AG at their offices in New York City for their emerging markets asset management division.
He now is a Director at True Wind Consulting; a Human Resources consulting firm based out of Hong Kong with offices in Shenzhen. True Wind Consulting works with both Western and Chinese companies throughout southern China in helping them improve their performance through effective people management. Additionally, he is a Manager with Saks Gloweli Consulting, a Hong Kong based Management Consulting firm in their Banking and Finance division.
