Introduction to Jinzhong Conservatory of Music
金钟音乐学院是首家以国家级音乐大奖“金钟奖”命名的音乐学院，由中国音乐家协会、深圳大学，深圳广播电影电视集团联合创办，2012年5月在深圳文博会上正式宣告成立,隶属于深圳大学师范学院、并于2013年开始正式招收音乐表演流行音乐专业学生。
Named after the Golden Bell Award (namely the Jinzhong Award), the top music award in China, Jinzhong Conservatory of Music was jointly established by Chinese Musicians’ Association, Shenzhen University and Shenzhen Media Group, and its establishment was formally announced at the Shenzhen International Cultural Industries Fair in May 2012. Under the jurisdiction of the Normal College of Shenzhen University, Jinzhong Conservatory started to admit students to specialize in music performance (pop music) in 2013.
学院由著名作曲家、中国文联副主席、中国音协副主席徐沛东担任名誉院长；著名词曲作家、中国流行音乐学会主席付林担任学院艺术委员会主任；著名音乐教育家、中国流行音乐学会副主席杨士春担任常务副院长。金兆钧、三宝、小虫、谭晶、汪峰、林夕、小柯、高晓松等32位著名音乐人受聘为金钟音乐学院第一届艺术委员会成员。
The renowned composer, vice president of China Federation of Literature and Art, vice president of Chinese Musicians’ Association Xu Peidong is nominated as honorary dean of the Conservatory; the famous composer and writer, president of China Pop Musicians Association Fu Lin served as Art Committee director of the Conservatory; and the famous music educator, vice president of the Chinese Pop Musicians Association Yang Shichun is designated as executive deputy dean of the Conservatory. Other 32 celebrity musicians such as Jin Zhaojun, San Bao, Johnny Bug Chen, Tan Jing, Wang Feng, Leung Wai Man, Xiao Ke and Gao Xiaosong are also appointed as members of Jinzhong Conservatory’s First Art Committee.
在金钟音乐学院的音乐表演专业中,现已开设包括流行演唱、音乐剧表演、流行器乐演奏【吉他（古典、民谣、电吉他）；流行键盘（钢琴、合成器、电子琴、双排键电子琴）；萨克斯管；电贝司与低音提琴；爵士鼓】等多个专业方向。从2016 年开始正式招收海外留学生。
Jinzhong Conservatory’s music performance major currently includes three concentrations: contemporary vocal performance, music drama performance and contemporary instrument performance (classical, folk, electric guitar; pop keyboard including piano, synthesizer, electric keyboard, electronic organ; saxophone; electric bass and double bass; jazz drum, etc.), and will enroll international students in 2016.
学院旨在立足传统的音乐教育基础上，本着“与时代同步、与世界接轨”的音乐教育创新思维，将流行音乐、传统音乐、爵士音乐与世界音乐等多种音乐融为一体，探索音乐创作与表演教学新模式。培养顺应时代发展、掌握新的音乐技术、满足社会需求的具有创新精神和国际视野的高素质、多层次应用型音乐高端人才。
Based on traditional music education and the innovative music education idea “In Step with Times and World Standards", the Conservatory aims to explore a new teaching mode for music creation and performance by integrating pop music, traditional music, jazz and world music as a whole, in the hope of cultivating innovative and versatile international talents who are able to adapt to the world’s latest development and master new music technology to meet the social needs.
专业介绍
Concentrations:
1. 流行演唱方向
通过系统科学的知识学习和全面深入的技能训练，使学生具有扎实的理论基础、完善的知识结构、全面的艺术修养、与国际接轨的流行演唱表演技能，并具有丰富的创造力和高尚的艺德情操。本专业培养能在专业文艺表演团体、商业音乐组织、职业（专业）艺术学校从事流行音乐演唱的独唱、重唱、合唱及教学与研究工作的德智体美全面发展的专业人才。并为在流行音乐创作、编配、作品分析等方面的进一步的发展奠定基础。
1. Contemporary Vocal Performance
Through the systematic and scientific knowledge learning and comprehensive skill training, students will be equipped with a solid theoretical foundation, perfect knowledge structure and comprehensive artistic accomplishment as well as rich creativity and noble art sentiment, and bring their contemporary vocal performance skills to international standard. This concentration aims to develop all-round talents who are competent to contemporary vocal performance, including the solo, ensemble and chorus as well as the teaching and research work in professional arts groups, commercial music organizations, occupational (professional) schools of art, and helps students to lay a sound foundation for their career development in the areas of popular music creation, orchestration and work analysis, etc.
2. 流行器乐方向
包括吉他（古典、民谣、电吉他）；流行键盘（钢琴、合成器、电子琴、双排键电子琴）；萨克斯管；电贝司与低音提琴；爵士鼓
该专业将流行器乐的教学融入在传统器乐教学严谨、成熟的理论框架之中，打破对于器乐的单一理解。学生在学习演奏技术的同时，还必须加强音乐理论知识的学习及了解掌握各类风格的流行音乐，通过四年严格、正规的专业训练，使学生成为基础扎实、技巧娴熟，并在即兴伴奏、即兴演奏等方面都有较好应用的演奏专业人才。
本专业为文艺表演团体、商业音乐组织、专业（职业）艺术院校等单位培养从事独奏、重奏、伴奏、合奏及教学与研究工作的流行音乐器乐演奏专业人才，兼具流行音乐分析、编配、创作等基本能力。
2. Contemporary Instruments Performance
The major provides the following contemporary instruments:
Guitar (includes in the style of classical, acoustic, and electrical guitar.)
Keyboard (includes piano, synthesizer, keyboard, and electone.)
Saxophone
Bass (includes electrical bass and double bass)
Drums
This instrumental major combines the traditional and precise teaching concepts, and its maturity of the theoretical instruction leads a modern path of the understanding of music. While focusing training the students of the practical performing techniques, they also required to enhance the abilities in the fields of theory, harmony, and the general styles of contemporary music. Through the four years of standard and professional training, students should be grown and develop as a musician with strong foundation and techniques, and also to be a creative musician who is well to improvise and accompany. This instrument major also trains the students to obtain the wildly musical skills such as solo instrumental performance, ensemble performance, professional accompanist, creations, music arranging, instruction, and research study; In further to prepare for those who wish to work as a part of performing groups, commercial music organizations, and professional music academy.
3、音乐剧表演方向
音乐剧表演是一门集音乐表演、戏剧表演、舞蹈表演于一体的综合学科，主要培养学生以音乐剧表演为主线的综合舞台表演能力，借鉴欧美音乐剧专业训练的经验及教学方法，结合我国戏曲唱、念、做、打的传统训练手段，培养学生具有从事音乐剧专业表演能力，及从事包括音乐教育、群众文化辅导、企事业文化普及、宣传工作的复合型人才。
3. Music Theater Performance
The music theater major is an integrated discipline of music, drama and dance, and aims to develop students’ music and stage performance skills. By referring to the musical professional training experience of the Europe and America and combining the teaching methods of the traditional Chinese opera, the major helps students to enhance their music drama performing skills and develop them into versatile professionals in the areas of music education, mass culture tutorial and the enterprises’ culture promotion work, etc..

入学条件及申请材料
1、年满18周岁，身体健康。

3、需提供新版汉语水平考试五级成绩（180分以上），高中毕业证书(或同等学历证书)、高中毕业成绩原件及复印件。应届生应提供就读高中出具的预期毕业证明原件。高中毕业证书及毕业成绩如果是非中、英文版本的文本，还需提供公正过的中文或英文版本翻译件。
4、提供包括用中文所做的一段自我介绍（时间长度约5分钟）及演奏、演唱曲目的视频资料。演奏、演唱的曲目不低于两首（总时长不低于7分钟）。报考流行演唱专业的学生，在所唱的两首歌曲中，必须演唱一首中文歌曲。报考流行器乐专业的学生所演奏的曲目中，应包括练习曲和乐曲各一首。提供的视频资料，格式为MP4的数据光盘（邮寄地址：深圳市南山区深圳大学师范学院B座217室；邮编518060）。要求录制时，要采用正面、全身的同期声录制方式（音视频必须同时一次性完成）。如学生需展现其认为必要的才艺可自行增加，但时间不超过5分钟。
5、报名时间：（5月15日至6月30日）
Application requirements
1. Age of 18 or above with healthy condition

3. The score (over 180points) of New Version of Mandarin level 5; High-school diploma; High-school official transcript (original transcript and 1 photo copy); Fresh graduate should prove the graduating documents. (The official high-school diploma and transcript should have its translation in Mandarin-Chinese and English with Chinese government notarization.)
4. One video file with Chinese self-introduction and the performing tune. The performance of vocal or instruments should be no less than 2 songs (about 7 minutes). For vocal students, it requires 1 Chinese song and 1 English song. For instruments students, it requires 2 tunes. All tunes must be in a CD disk with MP4 format, and students should record themselves with full body and front side. The recording can not be edited, and it should be one time through. In addition, if students want to show more talents, it will be no more than 5 minutes.
